Group Therapy

For the past 20 years, I have facilitated Women's Support Therapy Groups through my practice. These are weekly 90 minute meetings, for discounted fees, where we study books that address various issues pertaining to women. In the course of the book work, the principles are applied to individual women who share their particular concerns and issues. The trust and bonding, depth of sharing and discussion that occurs in these groups is amazing. Most women do consecutive groups. Participating in a group while in individual counseling will accelerate the success of your efforts to improve your life. I like the idea of "throwing the book" at problems and issues. If we hit a problem from every angle, it has to budge - even those really stubborn ones! Support groups are one more way to make a difference for yourself.

There are group opportunities where ever you live.

Professional Counselor led groups on a variety of topics. Celebrate Recovery Programs offering 12-Step Groups and Pregnancy Care Centers offering groups around their topics of concern.

“To Diana and the Captivating book group! I wanted to express to you all how much I truly enjoyed spending my Wednesday afternoons in discussion with you – a group of spectacular women.
